Vance moved from Panama City to Tallahassee in February of 2000, and started attending Canopy Roads shortly afterwards. He joined the band as a guitar player, then he and his girlfriend Michelle joined the church on Easter Sunday of that year. He and Michelle were married by Pastor Matt in 2001, and they have both been involved in the worship ministry ever since. Vance serves as the Worship Director and enjoys working with many fantastic musicians and singers to help lead our congregation in worship. His day job is as the Director of Technology at Community Christian School.
Hobbies and Interests: "I like to build guitars as well as play them, and I tinker with cars whenever I get the chance. I dabble in just about any hobby that lets me make things with my hands."
Favorite Thing To Do In Tallahassee: "I like to go out and listen to live music somewhere in town, then head to Lofty Pursuits for some Ice Cream. But as an introvert, I most enjoy staying home and working on my own projects."
