Jenna, originally from Georgia, became a member at Canopy Roads with her family in 2014. She joined our staff as the Children's Director in August of 2019. She attended both Deerlake and Chiles for middle school and high school. She graduated from The Baptist University of Florida in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and taught Kindergarten for three years at DeSoto Trail Elementary here in Tallahassee.
Jenna tells people she's loved kids since she was one herself. She treasures children just as Jesus does in Matthew 19:14 and felt God's call to children's ministry as a teenager. Her greatest passion is sharing the Gospel message with kids on a level they can understand and seeing them come to know Jesus in a personal way while they're young.
Hobbies and Interests: "Outside of teaching kids, I enjoy a good cup of iced coffee, crafting, reading and spending time with friends, family and kids whenever I can."
Favorite Thing To Do In Tallahassee: "I enjoy long walks in the neighborhood and eating out with the rest of my family at our favorite restaurants in town."
