Jenna, originally from Georgia, became a member at Canopy Roads with her family in 2014. She joined our staff as the Children's Director in August of 2019. After finishing high school in 2010, she attended The Baptist College of Florida. She graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and taught Kindergarten for three years at DeSoto Trail Elementary here in Tallahassee.
Jenna tells people she's loved kids since she was one herself. She treasures children just as Jesus does in Matthew 19:14 and felt God's call to children's ministry as a teenager. Her greatest passion is sharing the Gospel message with kids on a level they can understand and seeing them come to know Jesus in a personal way while they're young.
Hobbies and Interests: "Some of my favorite things are teaching, iced coffee, otters and the color pink. I enjoy long walks in the neighborhood, cooking new recipes, crafting, puzzles, reading books, and spending time with friends, family and kids whenever I can."
Favorite Thing To Do In Tallahassee: "I enjoy Starbucks and shopping out with my mom as well as eating out with the rest of my family at our favorite restaurants in town."
