Jayce grew up in Perry, FL and joined the team at Canopy Roads in June of 2021. Jayce is married to Candice and together they have four children: Harrison, Chandler, Hallie and Mila. Jayce has a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry from the Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before accepting God’s call to Canopy Roads, Jayce served for four years as the Student Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
Jayce is passionate about students and their families because adolescents are trying to answer the question “Who am I?” Jesus is the only one who can sufficiently answer that question and parents who follow Christ are the greatest influence in a student’s life. Jayce seeks to come alongside parents as they trust and follow Jesus, so that students will follow Christ as well.
Hobbies and Interests: “I love to spend time with my family, workout, run, play sports, coach youth sports, and cook on my smoker. My favorite things are black coffee, books, the color royal blue, and the Florida Gators. Go Gators!”
Favorite Thing To Do In Tallahassee: “I like running with my kids in the annual Turkey Trot race.”
