Day 2:    LOCAL AND REGIONAL NEEDS

We have a tendency to look hard at the problems across the world and miss the "mess across the street." Today we will be praying for guidance on how to best serve the people in our own community. We also want to pray for a new endeavor called “Project Big Bend” that could bring multiple churches together to meet the needs of the Big Bend community.

15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 in the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
