Our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts. We believe safety is our #1 priority and we have established a team of adult volunteers with background checks who love to work with children as well as a functioning check-in system designed to make sure your child never leaves with the wrong adult! All of this is set in place to ensure you a worry-free worship experience.
Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment where our only goal is to bring God's Word alive in your kids' hearts and help lead them to a relationship with Jesus, all while loving them to pieces! Whether they are at school, at home, or on the playground, Pier 252 teaches them how to use Scripture wherever they are!
Pier 252 meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:00 in Building
AWANA is our Sunday night program that focuses on learning God's Word in a fun atmosphere. Each week, AWANA provides positive, consistent teaching and training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. AWANA clubbers learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible.
A typical night at AWANA is broken into three parts:
- Game Time - Every AWANA meeting kicks off in high gear with lots of team competition in a series of fun games!
- Handbook Time - Clubbers progress through handbooks at their own pace and meet with leaders individually to go over the truths they are learning.
- Council Time - A time of Bible study, followed by awards and recognition for individual progress and points scored during team activities.
